CAD Design Engineer
Job Description
We are currently looking to strengthen our team by recruiting a technically adept CAD design engineer. An attractive package is being offered including pension, private health care and bonus.
Ai Process Systems Ltd. specialise in providing design and engineering services to a wide range of manufacturing, process and packaging industries with extensive experience in process design and project management.
You will be required to provide the input required to develop project design documents such as, but not limited to, plant equipment general arrangement drawings, site and building plan and elevation drawings, mechanical pipework drawings, steelwork mezzanine drawings, basic civil designs. You will work with the project team to develop cost-effective and resource efficient design solutions in accordance with project budgets.
Additionally, you will be required to attend sites to carry out site surveys and you will have the responsibility of generating existing and new plant plan and elevation drawings on your return. You will develop 3D models of new plant equipment layouts and pipework routing, in preparation for its construction.
Other responsibilities include liaising with third party sub-contractors regarding detailed structural and civil designs and integrating specialist designs into internal project designs.
You will be working for one of the UK’s leading contracting consultancies who have successfully completed projects in many regions around the world and across a wide range of market sectors. To fulfil this role some working away from home will be required, including working overseas.
